CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE
As we come to grips with the current pandemic and all of the uncertainties created by this illness, we here at Ekker Law, P.C., remain committed to addressing the legal needs of our clients while ensuring the health and safety of all involved. To that end, while we continue to monitor and respond to emails and phone messages, we are temporarily restricting face-to-face meetings pending further direction from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
If you would like to schedule a teleconference during this period, please call or email the office and we will be happy to set one up for a mutually convenient date and time.
We continue to monitor the courthouse closings in Kane, Kendall, DuPage, DeKalb and other nearby counties, and we will post updates here as soon as they become known. Currently, except for matters of true emergency, the courthouses will remain closed through May 29, 2020, although the June 1, 2020 tentative re-opening date is obviously subject to change. All matters that were already assigned court dates set to proceed during the closure period will automatically be re-assigned new dates and times following the re-opening of the courthouses.
Please call or email the office with any questions or concerns. We remain devoted to the continued representation of our clients and are here to help anyone seeking guidance through these unprecedented times.
God bless, remain vigilant, and stay healthy!
